This is either a podcast or a table scrap.
On this episode of Table Talk Radio after a few Buzz type words, Orthopraxy and Distinction, we will review the Lutheran Hour Ministries video We The Church and discuss the effect of creating emergencies in the church. Then we will review a blog post by The Flamme. Tune in to see what all this mediocracy is all about!
On this episode of Table Talk Radio after a few Buzz Phrases we will take the 3 Estates to a New Level. Then we discuss the Heart Of Man as we Preach to Hollywood. We wrap this episode up by playing 10 Commandments In The News as we discuss Pope Francis’ statement on Catholics and Lutherans agreeing on Justification.
In the final installment of the Master Metaphor series, Pastor Wolfmeuller and Dr. Gregory Schulz talk about John Searle's Chinese Room.
In the next installment of the Master Metaphors series, Pastor Wolfmeuller talks to Dr. Gregory Schulz about Ludwig Wittgenstein and his Rule for When to Speak and When to Be Silent.
On this episode of Table Talk Radio, after Pastor Wolfmueller blatantly and shamelessly promotes his Liturgical Boot-Camp shows on Issues Etc., we will play Name that Church Body. Then we will play a new game that could be called Is That VP Debate Law or Gospel. If time permits we will play a real game of Law and Gospel. Sit back and enjoy!
Who ever thought that LIVE video would make good radio? We did that's who! On this edition of Table Talk Radio you will get to hear the audio portion of our first ever Facebook LIVE show. How mediocre is that? And on this episode we will run the song All Because Of Jesus by Casting Crowns through the olde Praise Song Cruncher and see how it fairs. Then we will take a trip through Pastor Wolfmueller's office and play What's In Your Pastor's Library. Finally, we will do a little Preaching To Hollywood as we look at the Taylor Swift song The New Romantic. So, close your eyes and imagine your watching us LIVE on FB ... but not if your driving!!!!!
Mediocrity at it's best ... This is Table Talk Radio!
Is God's love conditional or unconditional? On today's episode we attempt to to answer that question as we clear out the voicemail box (not really, but we try) by playing the Bumper Sticker and Church Sign Theology games. And if that is not enough, we accidentally play a voicemail that doesn't refer to a single bumper sticker or church sign. That is how we keep our reputation as the best mediocre radio show!
On this episode of TTR we open up the emails and sort for any that ask us to review songs by Preaching To Hollywood. Today's marathon entries are: 1) Holy by Florida Georgia Line 2) Bleeding Out by Imagine Dragons and 3) Call Me by Shine Down. We couldn't think of a more mediocre way to talk about the N.A.R., Concupiscence and Blasphemy - OMM! (Oh My Muhammad!)
Table Talk Radio’s Which Ladder Marathon continues! After some buzzwords, voicemails and a rousing game of Preaching to Hollywood we play some audio from Deepak Chopra and try to discern Which Ladder he is climbing.
In Table Talk Radio’s Which Ladder Marathon, we roll the dice to listen to America’s Most Influential Pastors of America and discern are they telling us to do something, feel something or think something? In any case, they’re not telling us about Christ who has done all for us (ie. The Gospel).
